Pre-recording mode

Pre-recorded data is data that is recorded by the program for several minutes before the recording was started. When recording is finished, a dialog appears with the question: "Do you want to use prerecorded data?" When you press "Yes" the pre-recorded data is automatically added to the beginning of the file. Pressing "No" means that the pre-recorded data will not be added.

To enable the Pre-recording mode select in main menu "Edit ->Preferences" and check item "Use Pre-recording".

Recording

There are three ways to start recording:

- Press the "Record" button on the toolbar;

- Left click on the appropriate icon in the tray;

- Press the key combination Ctrl+R (works even if the application is minimized in the tray).

The recording level is set with the slider on the toolbar.

To stop recording, press the "Stop" button or click on the corresponding icon in the tray.

Skip the silence during recording

Select in main menu "Edit ->Preferences" and check item "Skip the silence during recording".
